Drifting and Backsliding

This is a common fact: no one drifts towards God. The apostle Paul put it this way, "For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want."

If we are not careful and vigilant, we can be taken off the foundation of Christ, slowly and subtlely, going largely unnoticed until it is too late.
